Corona prevention works in Tamil Nadu – 2100 Medical personnel recruited by District Collectors. A complete curfew has been imposed in Tamil Nadu to control the spread of corona infection and preventive measures have been intensified. In this situation, the government has announced to appoint 2,100 medical personnel on a contract basis for a period of 6 months at a salary of 60 thousand rupees per month for corona prevention work in Tamil Nadu.
It is noteworthy that the medical staff are to be appointed on the basis of consultation with the District Collectors.
There is a shortage of doctors to treat corona patients at Perundurai Government Medical College Hospital and Erode Government Hospital and Corona Care Center in Erode district. Here, the General Physician (MBBS), Senior Physician (Pulmonologist), Qualified Medical Officers and staff will be selected and appointed on a lump sum basis for a period of three months. Work extension will be done as required. 100 will be selected on the basis of a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000 for a general practitioner and a salary fixed by the government for a senior physician (pulmonologist). In addition, 500 nurses, 20 lab staff (lab technicians) and 5 X-ray technicians will be selected from the monthly package of Rs 14,000.
The first elections are scheduled to be held today at the office of the Deputy Director of Health Services in Tindal, Erode to fill all these vacancies.
