Kuch Kuch Hota Hai remains to be one of the most loved love stories in Bollywood. The Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji love triangle was helmed by Karan Johar and today the film completes 23 years. It was Karan Johar’s debut movie as a director and today he penned down an emotional note about it.
Karan Johar took to his social media and expressed his gratitude to the movie and how even after 23 years he has the same love for his first film. His note reads, ‘23 years of pyaar, dosti and a bunch of memories! This was my first time behind the camera and it ignited an unparalleled love for the cinema in me that continues to drive me till today.” He further added, “Gratitude to the best cast, crew & the audience who continues to pour in the love for this story 23 years on! Thank you. #23YearsOfKKHH.”
Karan Johar has always remained close to his KKHH trio and even till date one of them always makes an appearance in his films as a lucky charm. In 2012 Kajol made a cameo in Disco Deewane song in Student of The Year and in KJo’s last offering Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, he had Shah Rukh Khan play Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s ex husband for a small scene. Karan Johar meanwhile is busy shooting for his next directorial – Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahaani. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are the lead actors and the director has managed to rope in Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra in it as well. Quite the casting coup!
