About JKSSB Junior Engineer Recruitment :

J&K Services Selection Board has Recently Announced and Invited the Online Applications from the Eligible Candidates for the Posts of Various posts in different Departments. The total number of Vacancies for these Posts were 580 Posts. Many Interested and Eligible Candidates applied for these Posts online. The Process of Submission of Online Applications for these Posts was commenced from 31st of December, 2020 and Last Date to Apply for these Posts was 20th of January, 2021. J&K Services Selection Board will soon conduct the Written Exam for the Various posts in different Departments. Candidates who applied for these Posts are now waiting for the Exam Dates. Driver Grade- II The selection for the post shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in the written examination only. The candidate shall have to qualify Driving Test to be eligible to appear for written examination
Junior Engineer(Civil) The selection for the post shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in written examination only.
Junior Engineer (Mechanical) The selection for the post shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in written examination only.
Draftsman (Civ il) The selection for the post shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in written examination only.
Draftsman (Me chanical) The selection for the post shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in written examination only.
Works Supervisor The selection for the post shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in written examination only.
Jr. Stenographer Skill Test = 40 points Written Examination/CBT=60 points (The marks obtained in the Skill Test shall be proportionately allotted against the 40 points earmarked for the Skill Test)
Jr. Stenographer Skill Test = 40 points Written Examination/CBT =60 points(The marks obtained in the Skill Test shall be proportionately allotted against the 40 points earmarked for the Skill Test)
Junior Assistant Skill Test = 20 points Written Examination/ CBT=80 points (The marks obtained in the Type Test shall be proportionately allotted against 20 points earmarked for the Type Test)

Exam Pattern :

Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-

  • Exam Will be Objective Type.
  • Questions will be in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
  • Maximum Marks for this Exam will be 120 Marks & for the Posts of Driver and Supervisory it will be of 100 Marks.
  • Time allocated for this Exam will be of 2 hours.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 Marks.
