The Cupertino tech giant is looking forward to launching the Apple Watch Series 8 with a bigger display in 2022. The watch is under development and might come with a third screen size option which is expected to be bigger than the existing ones. The all new Apple Watch Series 8 will be launched next year. However, Apple Watch Series 7 is out on sale from 15th October in the global market, exactly one month after it was launched in the event that commenced on 14th September.
Apple Watch Series 7 and Series 8
Apple Watch Series 7 was launched in the launch event that was held on 14th September. The company has offered a plethora of features with the all new Apple Watch Series 7. It is dust proof, scratch proof and waterproof. It was launched alongside the Apple iPhone 13 series smartphones and features two sizes that are 41 mm and 45 mm across two variants, stainless steel and aluminium. It was an upgrade from the 40 mm and 44 mm screen size that was seen on its predecessor, Apple Watch Series 6.
Apple Watch Series 7 comes with several health monitoring features such as the ECG, Blood Oxygen monitor, Heart rate monitor, Workout mode and more. It has an always-on Retina display that is always on and you don’t have to raise your wrist or touch the screen to see the time or other details. The Apple Watch Series 7 charges up to 33 percent faster than its predecessors and supports USB-C type fast charging.
The new reflect feature in the mindfulness app lets you reduce your stress and lets you live routined and healthy life. Apart from this there are several other features such as the cycling feature that keeps track of the distance you cover while cycling. Apple Watch Series 7 is water resistant up to 50 meters whether in open water or while tracking your splits and sets while swimming in the pool.
