About Chandigarh Forest Guard Recruitment :

Department of Forest & Wildlife, Chandigarh has recently announced and invited Online applications from the eligible candidates for the Vacancies of Forester and Forest Guard. The total number of vacancies for these posts is 20. The Interested and Eligible Candidates can apply for these Posts Online. The Submission of the Online Application for these Posts has started from the 29th of September, 2020 and the Last date to Apply Online is the 20th of October, 2020.

About the Exam:

Candidates who applied for the Posts of Forester and Forest Guard in the Department of Forest & Wildlife, Chandigarh will be called for the Examination which will be held in Mid December 2020. Candidates are eagerly waiting for the Exam dates. As we know that the Exam will be held in December 2020 so there is enough time available for the Candidates to prepare for this Exam. Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-

For the Posts of Forester:-

• The written exam will be of Objective type.
• The total number of Questions will be 80.
• Maximum Marks for this Exam will be 80.
• The time allocated for this Exam will be of 2 hours.

For the Posts of Forest Guard :

• The written exam will be of Objective type.
• The total number of Questions will be 80.
• Maximum Marks for this Exam will be 80.
• The time allocated for this Exam will be of 2 hours.

Chandigarh Forest Dept. Syllabus :

Exam Syllabus for the Written Exam is as Follows:-

For the Posts of Forester:-

• (i) General Studies including General English, Geography, General Science and Current affairs, the standard of this paper will be of 10+2 class.
• (ii) Mathematics (simple Arithmetic, Geometry, and Algebra). The standard of this paper will be that of the Matriculation level.
• (iii) Basic computer working.
• (iv) General Mental Ability.

Physical Process :

Only successful candidates in order of merit based on written examination shall be called for physical test and it will be conducted by the Department of Forest & Wildlife, UT., Chandigarh. The detail of the physical standard is as under:-

(Male):
Height: 163 cms Chest: 79 cms without expansion and 84 cm with expansion Walk: 25 Kms in 4 hours

(Female):
Height: 150 cms Chest: 74 cm without expansion and 79 cm with expansion Walk: 14 km in 4 hours.

For the Posts of Forest Guard :

• (i) English Grammer (10th Standard).
• (ii) Mathematics- Simple Arithmetic, Geometry, and Algebra (10th Standard).
• (iii) Basic computer working.
• (iv) General Mental Ability.

Physical Process:-

Only successful candidates in order of merit based on written examination shall be called for physical test and it will be conducted by the Department of Forest & Wildlife, UT., Chandigarh. The detail of the physical standard is as under:-

(Male) :

Qualifying Marks :
